Three massage parlors were shut down in Lomita this week during an investigation into whether their owners were complying with state laws that battle the exploitation of women and human trafficking.
Zen Day Spa, Lomita Blvd. Along with investigators with the California Employment Development Department, the Department of Industrial Relations and a singles in orlando free of Lomita employee, deputies visited the businesses to check their records, Despot said.
