Broncholitis is related to bronchioles.The
suffix "tis" is the sign of an inflammation.
The broncholes are small passages in the
lungs.
Broncholitis can be defined as an inflammation
that affect the tiny airways of the respiratory tract .
As the inflammation progresses,the airways
become inflamed,swollen and filled with mucus leading to
difficulty to breathe.

infection.Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is generally found
causing the disease.But it's possible to encounter other
viruses like parainfluenza, influenza, and adenovirus.

direct contact with nasal secretions .
